The Friends, a registered charity, was founded in 1945 to bring togetherr everyone, both resident in Wimborne and non-resident, who has the welfare and preservation of Wimborne Minster at heart. We aim to preserve and enrich the Minster, We raise funds to ensure the conservation and enhancement of the Minster, its contents and precincts. We promote and foster interest in the Minster's history and records. Wimborne without the Minster would be a much poorer town.
